THINKING GREEN THROUGH STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
601-701 CAMPUS ROAD
AT PRINCETON FORRESTAL CENTER
A recently completed project to upgrade a portion of the regional stormwater management system to current criteria included the implementation of a constructed basin which includes wetland creation, water budget-based design, enhanced water quality, increased flood control, innovative groundwater recharge component and use of otherwise undevelopable land. The original 1980 stormwater management was progressive for its time and this new bio-retention basin builds on previous success. The Princeton Forrestal Center team included Van Note-Harvey Associates, Sasaki Associates, HMC Associates and Enviroscapes.
